I'll stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.

Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
